  12. Analysis of the reasons why the cage trips as soon as it starts:

1. Analysis of the cause of tripping of main power protection switch:

The main cable is damaged internally, short-circuited or the phase line is short-circuited to the ground, commonly known as blasting.
Countermeasures: Repair the damaged part and restore insulation.

2. Analysis of the cause of tripping of control circuit protection switch:

2.1. Short circuit of control transformer coil
2.2. Loose wiring of switch, falling off.
Countermeasures: Repair and tighten the connection wire.

3. Analysis of the cause of failure of contactor in power box when power supply is normal:

The interlock switch of the bottom frame fence door is not connected.
Countermeasures: Adjust the interlock switch.

4. Analysis of the cause of failure of main contactor in construction hoist electric control box in cage when power supply is normal:

4.1. The control contact of thermal relay is disconnected
4.2. Skylight cover door switch, safety switch is not connected
4.3. There are short circuits or disconnections of components or lines in the control circuit.
Countermeasures: Use a multimeter to measure and connect.

5. Analysis of the reasons why the corresponding contactor does not attract when the operating handle is turned up and down:

5.1. The cage door switch is not closed
5.2. The upper and lower limit switches are not closed
5.3. The internal contacts of the operating switch are not connected
5.4. The operating switch wire is damaged, broken, etc.
Coping strategy: Measure the voltage and repair it.

6. Analysis of the reasons why the cage stops automatically when running up and down:

6.1. Overload operation, thermal relay action
6.2. Poor contact of the limit switch
6.3. Door switch action.
Coping strategy: Repair the door switch and interlock.

7. Analysis of the reasons why the cage stops when it rises:

The brake coil current selection resistor is open or the resistance value changes.
Coping strategy: Connect the resistance loop well, the resistance value is 50-100 ohms.

8. Analysis of the reasons for the difficulty in starting the motor and abnormal sound:

8.1 The brake does not engage
8.2 The voltage is too low
8.3 The power supply is insufficient, or the distance between the power supply and the elevator is too large, and the cross-section of the power supply cable is too small, resulting in excessive voltage drop during starting.
Countermeasures: Improve the power supply access position, increase the number of cable squares, and the power supply voltage can work normally only when it is 380V+5%.

9 Analysis of the reasons for the motor brake not opening:

9.1 The brake contactor does not engage
9.2 The brake contactor contacts are burned
9.3 The auxiliary contacts of the control brake on the rising and falling contactors are burned
9.4 The rectifier bridge block is broken down or burned.
Countermeasures: Repair and replace the contacts or relays, and replace the rectifier bridge components.

10. The reason why the cage does not stop after the limit iron touches the limit switch during the rising or falling operation:

10.1 The upper limit switch and the lower limit switch are damaged
10.2 The displacement of the limit iron touch fails to make the switch touch the contact closed position.
Countermeasures: Replace the switch and adjust the iron carefully.

11. Analysis of the reasons why the upward contactor is easy to burn out:

The power supply is insufficient, or the power supply is too far from the elevator, and the cross-section of the power supply cable is not enough. As a result, the starting voltage drop is too large and the starting current is too large.
Coping strategy: Only by reducing the voltage drop can the current be reduced and the life of the contactor be extended.

12. Analysis of the reasons why the cage trips as soon as it starts:

12.1 The current setting of the air switch release of the power supply changes
12.2 Grounding or short circuit in the motor junction box.
Coping strategy: Replace the air switch, and measure the 100A release to find the short circuit breakdown location.
