I. Strict Control of On-Site Arrival
1. When selecting a manufacturer, choose a qualified and reputable suspended platform manufacturer;
2. After selecting the manufacturer, prepare a special safety technical plan based on the construction site conditions and determine the suspended platform model;
3. Upon arrival, inspect the suspended platform for deformation or corrosion, completeness of safety devices, aging of the electrical control system, absence of kinks or corrosion in the steel wire ropes, damage to counterweights, and absence of the manual lowering handle on the hoist. Relevant personnel should conduct an acceptance inspection, and only after passing the inspection can installation and use begin.
II. Strict Control of Installation
1. Suspension Mechanism
Connecting bolts must be securely fastened without loosening, the front support must be vertical and the support position must meet the requirements, structural load-bearing capacity must be calculated, the tensioned steel wire ropes must have an upward angle on the front suspension beam, and the length of the front cantilever beam must meet the design requirements specified in the instruction manual.
2. Counterweights
The quantity must meet the requirements of the instruction manual, with no missing or damaged counterweights, and measures to prevent displacement must be in place. The number of counterweights should be increased as needed.
3. Steel Wire Ropes
The diameter should be no less than 6mm and should also meet the requirements of the specific model’s instruction manual. If there are broken strands, loose strands, kinks, corrosion, or oil stains, the rope should be replaced. The steel wire rope fixing point should have a thimble, and there should be at least four rope clips with one safety bend. The steel wire rope weight should be 15cm from the ground and vertically taut.
4. Electrical System
It is strictly prohibited to connect external power to the suspended platform control box, and it must comply with relevant electrical safety regulations.
5. Limit Switches
When the platform reaches the end of its travel, it should cut off the power to the corresponding circuit and activate the brake, preventing it from exceeding the travel limit and continuing to rise. It should be securely installed and sensitive and reliable.
6. Acceptance Inspection
After manufacturing, assembly, and each relocation, relevant personnel must conduct an acceptance inspection. Only after passing the inspection can it be used. The acceptance record should be carefully filled out, and the responsible personnel should sign the document.
